Alden, Michigan Italian Car Show |
Approximately 20 miles from Traverse City and located along the southeast shore of Torch Lake is the site of the Alden Classic Sports Car Show being held August 15, 2010. The event kicks off with a tour around beautiful Torch Lake and with a broasted chicken lunch at the old depot on Saturday, August 14. The show is on Sunday, downtown in the quaint village of Alden. Open to sports cars only, any condition, and this year featuring Alfa Romeo. The chief judge is
AROC-Detroit member Bill Hallandal. A registration form will appear in the June issue of Alfa Giornale. The letterhead for the show has Bill's old robin's egg blue Giulietta Spider at the top. |
